Backyard Bash, a summer camp I founded over twenty years ago in the backyard of my childhood home, built on a simple idea: kids need real space to play, create, and be outside together. Each season blends themed activities, hands-on projects, and unstructured outdoor time, giving campers room to nurture friendships, try new things, and grow more confident and resilient along the way.
Little Yogis, a kids and family yoga program built around mindful play, breath, and connection. Classes blend simple poses, storytelling, and mindfulness games to help children regulate big emotions and feel more at home in their bodies, while giving parents tools to bring that same calm home with them.
What started as weekly classes and grew into community-wide Yoga Parties, bringing families together around shared movement and stillness alike.
Mueve Afuera, an outdoor Spanish immersion course created using the natural world as the guide for children learning a second language. Rather than a classroom, kids explored trails, gardens, and open spaces through group games and exploration, building vocabulary and confidence in Spanish the way language takes root: through movement, play, and shared discovery outdoors.
The Inner Circle Mastermind, a reoccuring gathering created for a small group of women exploring their own entrepreneurial paths. Part brainstorm, part support circle, sessions bring women together to share valued experience, work through business-related challenges, and champion each other’s creative pursuits, building a genuine community around the risk and reward of building something of your own.
